he Adjudication is an opportunity for our routines to be adjudicated by two judges prior to our competition season starting. They will give direct feedback to both the dancers and directors on their opinions about technique, choreography and overall appeal of each dance. This allows directors to make any changes/improvements to routines prior to the competition season. It also gives dancers validation on what they are doing well and constructive criticism on what they need to improve on.

 

Master Classes: Sergio & Nicki will be offering mandatory Master Classes for Level 1-2, Level 3-5, Level 6 and Level 7. These classes are mandatory for any dancer in that Level, regardless of troupe. See Adjudication Schedule for Master Class times. Master classes are free for the 2022-2023 season and included in the adjudication fee.

 

Dress Code: We will be implementing a dress code for the Adjudication. We ask that all Troupes wear the following:
*Dance Troupe – Black Leotard, Tank Top, Dance Short or Leggings – Hair Secured Up – Bring Ballet Slippers/Pointe Shoes, Dance Paws and Jazz Shoes
*Tap Troupe – Black Leotard, Tank Top, Dance Shorts or Leggings – Hair Secured Up – Tap Shoes
*Hip Hop Troupe – Appropriate Hip Hop Wear – Black Only – Hair Secured Up – Gym Shoes
📷This event will take place at the Lockport St. Studio. Please arrive 30 minutes before your first scheduled dance or master class (unless you are the first scheduled dance – then arrive 15 minutes before). Solos tend to run ahead. Please wear the dress code for class and bring all appropriate shoes with you. L1 will be available for dancers to stretch in.
